Birthday Party!

Here are the birthday boy's photos! He had a lovely time at his party on Saturday, at Loirston Annexe, although don't think he had a clue what was going on. He sat and ate loads of yummy food and played.

Sunday was Mothers Day as well as Kory's birthday so we all went out for lunch to Brewsters. Kory had a nice time stuffing his face again and playing in the ball pool. I won't waffle on as there are loads of photos, quite possibly the longest post to date!

Happy Birthday Kory!

Hope you enjoyed your day wee guy! Kory was 1 year old today. I can't believe it's been a year already. We had a party yesterday and as today was Mothers Day too, we all went out for lunch. He got loads of lovely presents, thanks everyone!

I will sort through the hundreds of photos that were taken and get them online as soon as I do. In the meantime, this was his cake.

Balloon & Pants

At the weekend, I went out for my lunch with Mummy, Daddy and Auntie Laura. We went to a mexican near the beach which was yummy. The nice lady there brought me a balloon that I had great fun playing with, as the photo shows.

After we were finished, we went for a look around the arcades and Mummy showed me a place called Rambo's and said if I hurry and learn to walk we can go there to play. It looks brilliant, so I need to think hard about how I do that. Then Daddy put me on his shoulders to get back to the car. I love being up high and can see everything.

This is a photo of me and Erin who we met at our "Mummy Milk" group we go to. Her and her mummy Reja came to my house on Thursday before we went to baby group. On Friday morning, mummy took me swimming and then we met Auntie Laura. She came back to my house later on and had her dinner. Mummy took her home and I wasn't feeling well, so I shouted on Daddy and he let me sit in his bed with him for a while till Mummy came home to give me cuddles.

This is me on Saturday, sitting like a little gnome on the poofy (I can't spell that, and Mummy is too busy to ask) we had a bit of a lazy day just around the house and to a phone shop where the nice man gave me a new mobile phone. Mummy went to school with him (he is James Duncan - maybe gran or grandpa remember him?)

I've already told you about Sunday, so I'l jump to Monday now. In the morning, Mummy took me to Katy's house to visit Joe. I had my lunch there and he let me sit in him Thomas chair and I felt special. Then we went to our group and then to get Daddy.

On Tuesday Daddy was working from home. In the morning we were in the house, here is me helping Mummy with the washing. I was trying to unload the washing machine and somehow managed to get mummy's pants over my head and round my neck. I was so embarassed that her and Daddy stood laughing at me and even took this photo.

In the afternoon Mummy and I went down to Stonehaven to visit Emilie. We played on her floor for a while and ate biscuits. Her floor is wood though and is so slippy and slidey I kept falling around. Today I went into town on the bus with Mummy early. We met Jackie and baby Craig for lunch. Later on I went to the clinic to get weighed. I am now 23lbs 7oz. This is the last time I get weighed for ages, because on Sunday I will be a big boy and am having a birthday!

Night Out & Video

On Saturday I spent the day watching James wreck my kitchen! Not content with putting a nail through a pipe a few weeks ago, he drilled through a kitchen cupboard while trying to fit locks to stop Kory getting in. I could have cried. So those reading this whose men say they "can't do DIY" I advise listening to them! It's different to "can't do ironing" in that it wrecks things!!

On Saturday night we went out for James' birthday meal. We went to a nice Indian, then for drinks with Don. It was a nice night. We stayed at Laura's flat overnight (Laura stayed at ours to look after Kory) and it was lovely to sleep! It was the first time we've left him and both gone out overnight, and I don't even think Kory noticed! As usual when James has been drinking he spent Sunday being sick.

On Sunday Lee came over to fix James' DIY disasters!! So now our house is finally back to normal. Poor Kory didn't leave the house all weekend, but then it was about minus 20 degrees outside with yet more snow, so he was probably better off inside! These photos were taken of him on the kitchen floor filling his face. He is still a bottomless pit that just eats. Here it's slices of apple and some panckes!

Monday was a normal day, James came home for lunch, then Kory and I went to Asda, then to our group, then to get James from work. I bought stuff to make Kory's birthday cake, or rather do a trial run. It was ok, a few tweaks needed for the real one next week. I am soooo excited about his party, I can't believe my wee baby is a year old and it's been a year already since I was wishing it all be over!

On Tuesday we went to a Toddlers group for the first time. Kory loved the older kids, hoovering up all their biscuits he isn't allowed and crawling after them! Maybe he'll get the idea to walk next week! Today Hannah and Holly came for lunch then Holly stayed while Hannah went to the midwife. I can't believe she'll have her baby very soon!

And lastly, James took this video the other day of Kory doing a few of his party tricks all close together, so thought we'd share! Towards the end when we say "Hello" he puts his hand up to his ear, that's what he does when there is no phone to put there!

Mess & Tricks!

This week I made Mummy take photos of me every day, because I am sure you all think I don't have many clothes. I always seem to appear on here in the same few outifts, but that is because mummy takes my picture more in her favourite ones. Also I have grown a little bit and now fit some of my 9-12 month clothes, so I have lots of new things to wear!

We've had a busy time since last weekend when we went to visit a little baby called Hayden. His Daddy has been friends with my Daddy since school. We didn't get a photo of me with Hayden, but here is Mummy holding him. She kept saying that I was never that small....of course not, I've always been a big boy!

This is me trying to play with Lee, but he wasn't much interested in playing!! Looks like I just have to wait for Hayden to get bigger so we can play together.

On Monday we got new carpet fitted in our living room in the morning, it's all soft and squashy and I love walking on it! In the afternoon we went to our usual group and then to Asda to get Daddy's birthday present. I chose Star Wars III for him. He said it was a good choice (don't tell him, but Mummy helped me!) This is me in the bath being cute!

On Tuesday we had to take the car to the garage to get the heating fixed as it always makes me cold being in there when I get blasted with freezing cold air. Only when it came back it STILL wasn't fixed and Daddy is mad. In the afternoon Murray and his Mummy Laura came over to my house to play, we had fun making loads of mess together. I had a roast dinner, here's me having my yorkshire pudding and peas, yummy!

On Wednesday we had a very busy day. We met Auntie Laura in town at 9am, we went to get some juice and croissants (yummy!) and then did some boring shopping...Mummy just can't accept that us boys hate shopping! I went to sleep I was so bored.

Gillian came to meet us for lunch. I had some of Mummy's lunch instead of my own, I was very grown up. I liked it so much I didn't leave much for Mummy, even though she ordered a large portion!! Gillian thought I was a pig, everyone says that, I need to find out what that means.

We walked back to the car and Daddy met us on the way. As soon as I got in I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was told that we had been to Coinneach's house to play, but I slept the whole time, and then we were at Tesco. Boring, more shopping! But I did get a dinosaur toy for my bath which I really like.

On Thursday we went to baby group as normal and today we tried to go swimming but got there to find it was closed because the silly cleaners are on strike. I was looking forward to my swim. In the afternoon the new kitchen floor was put down and now I don't get freezing cold feet when I go in there, yay!!

These 2 photos were taken today, I mashed banana all over my tray, my face, my hair and my hands. I had great fun, but didn't appreciate getting cleaned up, Mummy said the word "yuck" over and over.

Here is a photo of me and Daddy playing - we have this game where Daddy hides behind the couch, I crawl over to him, he jumps out and shouts "boo" and I stand up and run away round the couch, it's so so funny!

Here is me with Mummy's Pooh Bear collection. I have been able to see them for ages, and now I can get to them and play with them! Mummy taught me 5 new tricks this week, I shake my head when people say no to me, I blow kisses, I dance when asked to, I give cuddles when I am asked and pretend to hold a phone to my ear when mummy pretends to phone me! This one makes her laugh lots!
