Step 1 - Kneed the dough 
Step 2 - Level the dough out on a pizza tray 
Step 3 - Spread tomato sauce onto base using a knife and hands 
Step 4 - Add cheese and toppings 
Step 5 - Chop the toppings BEFORE placing on pizza! 
Step 6 - Set oven timer to 11 minutes 
Step 7 - Sit and patiently wait 
Step 8 - Make sure it doesn't burn! 
Step 9 - Serve pizza

This is my final photo with a lack of bump, I forgot to get it taken last week. I am now lighter than before I was pregnant with Krystal, although bigger round the tummy, so I must have lost it elsewhere, maybe my bum, right??!! WRONG!! It's as big as ever! I'm probably carrying a pint of milk as well, so I've no idea where it's been lost from. But who cares, I wore "normal" jeans for the first time todya, yippee!!
These 4 weeks have flown past. With Kory, every day was like a week, every week like a month. But this time it's the weekend again before I know it. Krystal is doing ok, gaining weight well and sleep isn't too hard to come by either with her. 
Kory had school this morning cried again. After lunch I decided his hair was getting too long, and it would be at least another 2 weeks before I could get him to a barber, so I took the clippers to it. What an improvement! I might be no Nicky Clarke, but it's miles better than it was.
James was off work again not well today, but at about 4:30pm he needed a bit of fresh air, so we put Krystal in the sling and headed for the park round the corner. She slept, and Kory had great fun as usual. 
This evening Krystal decided she just didn't want to go to sleep, so for the first time in 4 weeks (ok so I shouldn't complain, we've been lucky getting this far!) we have been taking turns to pace the living room with her in between feeds. On that note I better go...

P.S. I'm not a buggy addict, incase you see them all in garage, I have the nice expensive single, the cheapy travel single and then the double, just because they all dumped in there it looks a lot!
I've been a busy boy this week so far. Yesterday morning I went round to play with Jessica and Sophie in the morning, it was a nice day so we were in their garden. It was great fun and we even had our snacks there at the little table. This is me and Jess with honey bear biscuits, yummy!
In the afternoon, I got to put my waterproof suit and my wellies on as it was pouring with rain. We then walked to see Maria and Daniel at their house. Maria is going to have a baby very soon, just like baby Krystal. Jesica and Sophie were there too and we all got to play with Daniel's Piggy Pig (Guinea Pig) called Yogi. She came and sat on my knee for a wee while and made a funny squeeky noise. 
Today I went to school in the monring, but I was being really grumpy and didn't want Mummy to leave me there. She told me she had to take baby Krystal to the doctors and would be back soon. She kept her promise and came back for me! Baby Krystal got weighed and is a real fatty, she's put on 10oz this week, no wonder, she's always eating!
This afternoon Daddy wasn't feeling well and was sleeping so he took noisy baby Krystal and me and Mummy had some good fun in the garden doing painting. We had a big long bit of paper and lots of colours of paints. Once I was finished, it went on the washing line to dry. Once it was dry we put it on my bedroom wall, it looks really good there. 
When we had tidied up, we got out my huge jigsaw of numbers and did that on the floor. It's the first time Mummy has been able to do things with me on the floor for ages and ages, so it was very nice. Once Krystal got up from her sleep, I looked after her for a while on her playmat and gave her lots of kisses. She was smiling at me and I was showing her my Thomas DVD.

My brain is a bit scrambled just now with sleep deprivation and most probably drug intake!! But I'll do my best to see if I can remember what we've done recently. I can't even use photos to tell me really as they are all in the house! On Wednesday morning I got the 3 of us out the door by 9am, which I was very impressed with! Kory had his group again at 9:30 and I walked there. I was in agony after that mind you. 
In the afternoon my friend Reja came over with her little girl Erin, to meet Krystal and for the kids to play. She brought a lovely pressie too. It was a really warm afternoon so we sat outside watching them playing and I got the sun on my nose, oops. 
On Thursday Kory woke up with a horrible cold and cough which he still has. He was feeling very sorry for himself and just lay on the couch with his dummy and teddy pillow which is so unlike him. By lunchtime he was bored, so we were picked up by Maria to go to the usual Thursday group. Krystal was as good as gold sleeping and feeding then sleeping again while there. I even managed to make sweet and sour for Kory and I when we got home before she woke up!
We had a really rough night on Thursday night, so on Friday morning I felt like the world was ending (as you do with 2 kids and no sleep!) so Leanne and the girls came round and a little later so did Maria and Daniel. It all seems so much better when you are not alone and Kory is entertained with his friends too. By the time they left I felt semi human again.
This weekend James has been doing some overtime working at home, so we've been left to our own devices. Yesterday morning we were all fed up so I put Krystal in buggy and wrapped Kory up (it was SO cold, isn't it meant to be May?!) and we went a walk. Knackered Kory out for his nap and we saw lots of diggers as we went up past where they are still building houses. In the afternoon, we made Kory's day by going food shopping to Asda, but it was too much for me and I ended up very sore last night. 
This morning James is working again (double time woohoo!!) so while Krystal slept, Kory and I made rice crispie cakes with raisins in them. In typical child style he licked the spoon and got covered in chocolate! 
So what's new on the children front? Kory's speech is coming along so well, he is a little parrot and is starting to really speak in sentences by starting to use words like "the" "it" and "a" etc. Krystal is awake more than she was and is definitely smiling properly when I talk to her. Although I'm sure it's a bit early yet, there is a distinct difference between this and windy mouth movements, so I'm pretty sure it's a smile. Some nights she sleeps well, others she doesn't so well and comes into bed with me so we don't all end up awake!! 
She's still a little grumpy baby, who doesn't like being messed with at all. I wish I could remember when Kory stopped being like that, but I seem to have a complete memory block. Why does nature make women forget the bad bits? I assure you all, this time I will NEVER forget how horrible being pregnant is.

Today Kory entered the rat race! He started at a Rising 2's group, which is basically a playgroup that the kids in the area go to before they get their nursery place next year. So that's him in now, no stopping till he finishes school in 16 years! 
I took him in and as we were waiting outside to go in, he was holding my hand so tight like he knew I was about to leave him. When we went in, he cried right away, so I just gave him a kiss and the lady picked him up and I said bye bye and left. I felt dreadful doing it, but knew he'd be fine once I went. When James went back for him, they said he'd only cried for a couple of minutes and had been fine the rest of the time. 
He was full of beans telling me all about his singing, dancing, toys and toast he got. So from now on, 2 days a week, Kory will be there. I'm sure he'll love it once he gets into it. On Wednesdays he'll know lots of the kids there from other groups, so that should help too.
We came home and Caroline (health visitor) came to do a check on Krystal and all is well, her jaundice is going away thankfully, so no hospital trips like with Kory. She was weighed as well, and is up to 8lb 15oz, so more than regained her birth weight. I don't suppose I should be surprised the amount she eats!

This weekend has been bittersweet. Bitter was yesterday...both kids were a nightmare ALL day. Kory was in a foul mood and whinged on and on, keeping Krystal awake (and me for that matter) and throwing wobblers left right and centre. As a result, Krystal barely slept all day and was so overtired (I so don't understand the concept of too tired to sleep!) By dinner time, James and I were totally stressed out and desperate to get them both into bed! 
Today has been a lovely day, after a good night last night with Krystal only up once at 3am, I felt slightly better. We had a bit of a lazy morning in the house then in the afternoon we headed into town to the International Market on Union Street. I always like having a nosey at all the different countries foods and jewellery.
We got some yummy biscuits and went and sat in the park and ate them while I fed Krystal. I can't imagine having sat in a public park feeding Kory at 2 weeks old, it's amazing the confidence that comes with experience! It didn't even occur to me today to find it odd till I was already doing it!
Speaking of feeding, I went to H&M and got 4 lovely new tops which are designed to feed discretely. I never had any with Kory as I didn't know they existed till he was barely feeding in daytime, but I remember in summer ending up wearing layers and being too hot, all so my tummy wasn't on display. Anyway, I'm so pleased with them, which is why they deserve a mention on here.
James "wore" Krystal today for the first time. He felt a bit silly at first as if everyone was looking at him, but think he quite liked it by the end. Kory decided today he likes "driving" the car. He sat on James' knee and steered, beeped the horn, put on the indicators and flashed the lights. Only he threw a wobbler when it was time up because James told him he couldn't "drive to Asda" !!
I've been trying to get photos of Kory as this used to all be his photos, but for some reason this week he just won't stand still or look at the camera, hence them mostly being Krystal! This is her today in a wee outfit she was given by my gran and grandpa. It's only one of 2 she has which are not babygro's in her size. I like little tiny babies in just sleepsuits though, it's easier! But it will be nice to get her in her 0-3 ones, she got SO many lovely clothes as gifts.
I'm sore tonight, but then I have walked further today than I have in about 3-4 months! I'm still taking painkillers but am now trying to cut back a bit as I've been on a ridiculous amount since her birth. I need to be off most of them before I even contemplate driving in a couple of weeks too. I'm also starting to be able to do small household jobs, like washing and small meals, so I'm on the road to feeling like Julie again, it's been a while since I felt like her!

It's been a while since I got on here, the girls have been hogging it! I've been a busy boy helping Mummy and Daddy too since baby Krystal came to live in our house. I like helping and I keep getting given special jobs to do like looking after her. Today I even did it without being asked and had to shout on Mummy when Krystal cried. 
Yesterday was a horrible day, we were all in grumpy moods. I was getting upset because my toast was "broken" (I took a bite out of it!) and Krystal cried lots and Mummy was getting all stressy with us both. In the afternoon though Maria came round to get us all and we went to our group, it was really nice to get out.
Today baby Krystal slept late so Mummy and I had a nice peaceful breakfast. Then after we got dressed, Hannah, Holly and Natalie came round to play, I had good fun showing them my kitchen and all my fruit. 
In the afternoon, Mummy decided she was a little bit less sore than she had been so we all got ready to go out and went a walk to the park up the road. 
I got to walk and Krystal went in her sling for the first time outside. She was sleeping before we even got outside. 
I had fun at the park, the chute, the swings and running on the grass chasing the birdies!

Ok after I posted that last post, I thought one of the photos looked very familiar, and that I had one similar of Kory. So I looked back through the blog and I do indeed. Spookily it was taken on the day James went back to work then too. Weird that I've taken the same photo on the same day! Here's the article
But here are the photos I am talking about....
Today was 2 weeks since Krystal arrived, and James' first day back at work. I had been very worried, nervous & terrified about it (cue hormones going mad and crying lots!) but it was actually ok. My friend Dave came round for a while in the afternoon to see us and then Maria came in on her way to Asda and took Kory with her to get him out for a wee while. 
Kory was a little star all day, and seemed to accept that there was Krystal time and when she slept it was Kory time. We played with new toys, well birthday ones I'd hidden till now! and he helped where he could. I also got a nice surprise in the form of some lovely flowers from James' parents (thank you again!)
On Monday we had to go back up to the hospital for Krystal to have her hearing test re-done as she'd failed the one when she was born. Thankfully she passed it this time no problems, it's so stupid doing it at birth anyway! After that we went to register her birth at the registrars office. So she is now officially Krystal Charlotte Buckingham, no going back! 
Tuesday was a chilling out day and James went food shopping, to the doctors and to the library with Kory. Krystal and I did some catching up on some missed sleep! She's not the best sleeper in the world, but she's only 2 weeks old, so don't suppose I should complain...yet!

This photo is of Kory showing off his monster plaster on his pinkie. This morning he managed to give himself a paper cut right across the top of his finger. He was really upset, and I thought we were on our way to a bit of a hissy fit. But I managed to sort him out with a plaster with monsters on it and he was suddenly chuffed to bits about the whole scenario. Anyway he wanted a photo of it taken so here it is!
