New Hairdo

I want a new hairdo - I've looked like this since I was about 17 with the colour varying slightly with the sun. Please give any suggestions by leaving a comment! All suggestions considered :o)

My 2 requirements are that it must still fit in a ponytail of some description as I hate not being able to get it off my face and it can't take too long to do each day as I don't have time, so straightening is probably out!

Thanks

I think you should chop it off!!! Keep it just long enough to be tied back and thats it. Should length maybe??

Mind you i havent had a hair cut since March and i have the same prob as you! I desperately need something doing to it but dont know what.

I had mine cut this weekend: I had similar requirements to you and was *really* fed up of getting impractical styles from 17-year-olds who thought I was kidding when I said I didn't have time to faff with it every day. I actually managed to make myself clear: I told her she was *not* to use straighteners, etc...and I'm thrilled! Really happy with it. So my advice is to tell them straight (and yes, chop it off.)

I agree, I think you should have it chopped off. You can have a kind of Meg Ryan 'tousled' look which you jut scrunch dry quickly and still ties up easily. Some light blonde highlights - lovely. I found a picture that would suit you more for length and idea of style. See what you think. http://www.hairpedia.com/medium-hair-styles/medium-hairstyles/medium-hairstyles68.php

I agree you shoud get it chopped. Last time I had a major change I bought a couple of hairstyle magazines to get some ideas, then had a good long chat with my hairdresser. She told me what would and wouldn't work with my hair and face shape, and I told her how long I was willing to spend styling each morning and what sort of products and upkeep I was willing to do. If you're going for a change, don't just do the same but shorter - go for "wow!"
