Racing Frogs

I kind of promised myself when we started this website that I wouldn't turn it into a techy site. Something turn up a couple of weeks ago though that Julie found and I really wanted to tell everyone about it.

When you get a chance have a go of www.racingfrogs.org. This little site is pure genius and whoever came up with this idea must be earning a nice little fortune.

The basic idea is to create your own racing frog. You're then put into a league with 23 other frogs and every night they race against each other in one of four lakes. I won't ruin it for you but the idea is to train your frog up on a daily basis and the more attention you spend to it the better it gets.

Julie and me have been doing it for a couple of weeks now and Julie in particular, has been doing very well. She's just bought her frog, Froogle, a helicopter rental :) Ok for some!!

I'll give you one little tip to get you started. Buy a VIP subscription ASAP!!! It doesn't cost that much and you can get a fairly good advantage over the other frogs by using the options within it.

Let us know how you get on and if you've got any hints/tips let us know using the comments section.

just thought i'd let you know you have me totally hooked on this thing now!!! lol
only problem i've found is that you haven't got a way of finding out how everyone else is doing except if you set up a club...so....i set up a club. the clubs name is happy hoppers if anyone would like to let their frogs socialise with each other.
happy hopping.

It tells you most of this on website but to answer your question...

When you buy a VIP pass Racing Frogs sends you a unique code which is available to only one person. Once it's entered it's invalid.

As it happens I've only got about 7 days left on mine now but even if I could (and wanted to) you can't transfer these to other members.

The VIP isn't that expensive to buy but unforunately, like most things in this life, you can't get a lot for free.

Ok I've noticed quite a few people seem to be coming into this page from the search engines, so to avoid any disappointment here's a bit of a racing tip for you.

When you log in go to the "All about Gold" section where you invite friends to join Racing Frogs.

The website doesn't have any way of checking that the email address you've put in is real so just type in anything. Just make sure it follows a common email address pattern i.e. joebloggs@joebloggs.com.

Do this 5 times and you get a Social Club Membership for Toad Alley (+100 contentment). Do it 10 times and you'll get the Lily Springs Country Club Membership (+150 contentment). You'll also get 10 gold coins for every "person" you invite ;)
